Everyone owns a checkered shirt, almost certainly. It is the quintessential hallmark of the music lover seen at gigs, worn by artists and promoted by fashion.
Checkered Shirt Music & Media is an acknowledgment of this, a tip of the trilby if you will. Far from being just another face in the crowd, it is about recommending music and media to all in a straightforward, honest way. Rather than being bombarded with cliches and notions of cool, I aim to provide my own views on what I like in the industry at the moment. I’m not out to convince, sell or persuade, merely to bring to light artists, films, directors and authors that you may not be aware of. Hopefully you will get the same joy out of these things as I do.
